Vineyard Tour and Tasting

Description

Winter tours are back and available to book on select dates in November, January and February and released gradually.

Enjoy a Saffron Grange guided tour & tasting which will begin with a wander around the vineyard learning all about what it takes to produce exceptional quality grapes to make premium quality English sparkling wines. Next, sit back and sample the fruits of our labour in an educational but informal sparkling wine tasting and finish the experience with optional, delicious cheese, charcuterie or seafood plates (one per person) to complement and enhance our wines. Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or have never visited a vineyard before, our friendly and knowledgeable team will guide you through the process and answer any questions you have along the way.

The approximate duration of the tour and tasting experience (without accompanying food plates) is 1.5 hours.

Please note:

*Vineyard tours will continue to run in the event of inclement weather, unless it is deemed unsafe by Saffron Grange Vineyard, in which case we will transfer your booking to an alternative date. Saffron Grange reserves the right to postpone tours as required. Payment for Tours is due at the time of booking. Tickets are non-refundable, however, if you are unable to attend a tour, we can postpone your booking on one occasion, given we receive a minimum of two weeks’ notice.

**Unfortunately children are not permitted to attend our Tours and Tastings (though we welcome babes in arms). 

***Unfortunately, we do not accept group bookings larger than 4 people at the moment per tour. This is to ensure the experience is enjoyable for everyone involved.

****We welcome well-behaved dogs but please note they must be kept on a short lead at all times. 

******The terrain around the vineyard is mainly grass but on an incline and uneven in many places underfoot so not suitable for wheelchair users. Please ensure you wear suitable footwear and clothing for a walk around the vineyard.
