Sundowners at Saffron Grange
Our weekly ‘Sundowners at Saffron Grange’ events are an opportunity to come and enjoy a bite to eat and some drinks with friends and family.
It’s an opportunity to relax, socialise and soak up the atmosphere alongside other locals and visitors – we think it’s the perfect way to welcome in the weekend!
Read our FAQs below for more information. We hope to welcome you to a Sundowner soon!

A: Sundowners at Saffron Grange is an open invitation to join us for food and drinks each Friday evening over the summer.
We are joined by a different food truck each week, offering a wide range of tantalising treats, from BBQs to flatbreads, pizzas to burgers and much more besides.

Q: What food is available?
A: We are proud to offer a wide range of local foodie experiences, with partners including Bonnefire Box, Nomadough, Kerief Catering, Manna Seoul, Waffle + Co and Steak & Honour.
The menu changes each week and you can find the full list is available here.
Q: Do I need to book?
A: No, there is no need to book although we do recommend you pre-order your food directly with the food truck (when pre-booking is available).
Links are provided in the list above.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drink?
A: We encourage you to support the local businesses selling their food on our site as well as our small, family-run business and therefore please can we ask that you don’t bring your own food and drink for consumption on site.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes absolutely, Saffron Grange is dog-friendly and we always welcome well-behaved dogs. Please can we ask that you just keep them on a lead at all times and pick up after them when they have done their business.
Q: Are children welcome?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event, however we kindly request that you are sensitive to other guests and that children are supervised at all times. We also ask children and adults to kindly stay out of the wildflower patches to allow them to thrive and be considerate of the environment to make it enjoyable for others and so we can continue to run these events.
In addition Saffron Grange is a working vineyard and there are various hazards around. Whilst we have done our best to make the site as safe as possible for guests, we cannot be held responsible for any personal injuries at any of these events.
Q: Where can I sit?
A: We have picnic tables outside, seating undercover in our marquee, as well as seating in our Tasting Room. You are welcome to bring a picnic blanket or your own chairs if you prefer for comfort.
Q: What drinks are available?
A: Our bar will be fully stocked and aside from our home-grown fizz (by the glass or bottle), we offer a selection of cocktails, Wylde Sky beers, low-alcohol beers and a small selection of soft drinks.
Q: Can I leave my vehicle on site overnight?
A: You are welcome to leave your vehicle onsite overnight but please note vehicles (and bikes!) are left at the owner’s own risk.
