Hot on the heels of our sell-out 2018 Seyval Blanc Reserve and 2019 Sparkling Rosé, we are delighted to introduce two brand-new wines: the 2019 Seyval Blanc Reserve and the 2020 Sparkling Rosé.
The 2019 Seyval Blanc Reserve
The 2019 Seyval Blanc Reserve has been aged for 24 months on its lees and displays the same, familiar aromas of green apple, citrus and pear and on the palate there are notes of lime, red grapefruit and a hint of honey. This wine is crisp and refreshing; the perfect aperitif or why not try it with delicately seasoned white fish, oysters or a simple chicken salad drizzled with a citrus and honey dressing.
The 2020 Sparkling Rosé
The 2020 Sparkling Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Meunier – the first 100% Pinot Meunier Rosé we have made. The nose is packed with wild strawberries, violets and ripe nectarine and on the palate there is a distinct and delicious yellow plum jamminess, balanced perfectly with a sherbet acidity.
This Rosé pairs perfectly with fruity desserts like Eton Mess as well as Asian dishes or food with a hint of spice.
These two brand-new sparkling wines join our Decanter award-winning 2018 Classic Cuvée to complete our current tasting trio but be warned; they won’t be around for long!We still also have some bottles of our Decanter award-winning 2018 Blanc de Noirs in stock made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes.
