The ever-popular Sparkling Rosé returns!
This wine is made from a blend of 55% Pinot Meunier and 45% Pinot Noir and aged for 18 months on its lees.
The grapes were picked in October following a record-breaking hot summer here at Saffron Grange. The result is a delicious sparkling wine packed with strawberries and a underlying hint of jamminess.
The Sparkling Rosé is salmon pink in colour, with a vibrant mousse. The nose is greeted with sumptuous wild strawberries and baked apricots followed by ripe peaches, cream and the richness of hazelnut on the palate. Delicious on its own or why not try with Asian style dishes like sticky duck pancakes.
This Sparkling Rosé would be the perfect sparkling wine to treat someone special with or toast with at those special occasions.
